| Description: 20-pin SSOP programming adapter. The adapter accepts 173-mil wide SSOP packages with up to 20 leads. This programming adapter is wired one-to-one. It is used mostly for programming of PALs and serial EEPROMs. This adapter cannot be used for programming of serial EEPROMs with more than minimum pin count, i.e. if the EEPROM is available in 8-pin DIP, 8-lead SSOP, 8-lead TSSOP and 14-lead TSSOP, the minimum pin count is 8, hence the adapter cannot be used for programming of the 14-lead device. The adapter uses hinge-lid ZIF test socket made by Enplus. This programming adapter has 25-mil square pins - wire-wrap - for use in ZIF DIP sockets on device programmers. |
